The University of Redlands is a private, coeducational, liberal arts and sciences, and pre-professional university founded in 1907. Over 40 undergraduate programmes are available at the university. Among the programmes available are Business, Global Business, International Relations, Engineering 3-2, Computer Science, Music, Biology, Psychology, and Environmental Studies.
Many Redlands students participate in the annual Recycle Day and work on the school's sustainable farm, and some programmes are taught in energy-efficient "green" buildings. Students can participate in a number of school-sponsored outdoor activities, such as hot air ballooning and sea kayaking, because of Redlands' unique location. The school also has clubs for surfing and quidditch, the imaginary sport featured in the Harry Potter books, on campus. For student-athletes seeking a more traditional route, Redlands has more than 20 varsity sports teams.
Redlands' excellent reputation among school districts provides you with a leg up on the competition. For the past 90 years, the institution has affected public education in the Inland Empire more than any other college or university.
Graduates of the University of Redlands go on to have successful careers in a number of sectors, including business, teaching, and the arts. They take their wide perspective, problem-solving ability, and critical thinking skills learned at Redlands with them wherever they go, and they join a network of over 50,000 fellow Redlands graduates.
Because the University of Redlands is a liberal arts institution, the university's community not only strives to provide an inclusive atmosphere for all but also believes in a holistic approach to learning.
