Established in 1891, New York Law School (NYLS) is a 100-year-old private law school in Tribeca, New York City. The New York Law School offers both full-time day and part-time evening divisions for the J.D. program of study. The J.D. Program, L.L.M., and J.S.D. are a few of the common degrees provided by NYLS. The program's curriculum is unique in that it makes a concerted attempt to combine the study of theory and practice, as well as to include the viewpoints of legal professionals. The law school's distinctive Lawyering Skills Center provides clinics, simulated classes, and externships.
