A private Christian university, Whitworth University is a member of the Presbyterian Church (USA). Whitworth University was founded in 1890 and now has over 3,000 students enrolled in over 100 graduate and undergraduate programmes. Whitworth University courses include more than 100 undergraduate programs, two doctoral programs, six graduate programs, and seven adult bachelor's degree completion programs.
Whitworth University is located on a picturesque 200-acre campus. As part of its commitment to the environment and sustainability, Whitworth University is working towards LEED certification (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design). Since 2010, all new construction projects have been LEED certified.
