Seattle, Washington's City Institution of Seattle (CityU) is a private university. CityU enrolled 6,755 students in total in 2016–17. The schools at the university include the Washington Academy of Languages, School of Health and Social Sciences, School of Education and Leadership, School of Technology and Computing, and School of Business and Management. Seattle's CityU provides online and on-campus programs in locations all around the world. The National University System, a private nonprofit university system, includes CityU.
Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities has granted the City University of Seattle its accreditation (NWCCU). The Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs granted accreditation to the School of Management (ACBSP). The Project Management Institute has accredited City University's Project Management degree programs.
They pledge to cover the cost of tuition for Husky Promise-eligible applicants who are admitted to the UW. The Husky Promise ensures that all qualified Washington State students will receive financial aid through grants or scholarships to cover their entire tuition and mandatory fees.

There are new merit awards for international students, ranging from 2,000 USD (1,59,800INR) to 5,000 USD (3,99,502 INR)depending on GPA. Students transferring from Washington State community colleges are eligible for a transfer scholarship for overseas students worth up to 5,400USD (4,31,462INR). These scholarships are also available to students who begin their degrees online because of COVID-19 with the intention of transferring to the US. The money can be used for online courses.
