The South Dakota School of Mines and Technology (SDSMT) is an emerging design, science, and technology university. It was founded in 1885 and is governed by the South Dakota Board of Regents. The South Dakota School of Mines and Technology offers over 20 bachelor's degrees in science, technology, engineering, and math, as well as 25 graduate majors. The South Dakota School of Mines and Technology also provides four online engineering master's degree programs. These are Construction Engineering and Management, Engineering Management, Mining Engineering and Management, and Mining Engineering and Management.
