Milwaukee School of Engineering, Wisconsin, was established in 1903 and has a quarter-based academic calendar and an urban environment. MSOE offers its students the opportunity to study abroad and has affiliations with institutions like the Czech Technical University in Prague and the Manipal Institute of Technology in India.

Freshmen entering Milwaukee School of Engineering are eligible for academic tuition-based scholarships depending on their high school overall GPA and ACT or SAT scores. For returning students, academic scholarships are extendable each year for a maximum of 6 years (18 full-time terms), provided they continue to enroll full-time and adhere to SAP policy.
