Established in 1826, Mississippi College is a private university run by a Board of Trustees who was selected by the Mississippi Baptist Convention. In the 2016 edition of best colleges, this coeducational, comprehensive university got the 32ND spot. It is not only known as the oldest college in Mississippi but also as the biggest private university in the state.
