Founded in 1878, Duquesne University is a private, non-profit institution in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Duquesne was initially established by members of the Congregation of the Holy Spirit as the Pittsburgh Catholic College of the Holy Ghost, with an enrollment of forty students and six faculty members. At Duquesne University, approximately 10,045 students are currently enrolled, including over 700 international students from across 90 countries.
As the only Spiritan institution in the United States, it offers over 216 undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate programs. The University includes nine academic schools, such as the A.J. Palumbo School of Business Administration for undergraduate students and the John F.
