The University of Massachusetts - Dartmouth, fondly known as the UMass Dartmouth or UMassD is a public institution located in North Dartmouth, Massachusetts that was founded in 1895. It is one of five campuses and operating subdivisions of the University of Massachusetts. It utilizes a semester-based academic calendar and it offers over 50 undergraduate programs and 25 master’s degree programs and 12 doctoral programs.
