The Valparaiso University, fondly known as the Valpo, is an accredited private university located in Valparaiso, Indiana that was founded in 1859. It is the largest independent Lutheran university in the United States. It utilizes a semester-based academic calendar and it offers over 70 programs for undergraduate and graduate.
