Long Island University- Brooklyn is a private university located in one of the five boroughs of New York City, Brooklyn. LIU Brooklyn came into existence in 1962, and since that time, the campus has aimed to be more inclusive of students from diverse backgrounds. The school is relatively small. The school’s first class made of students who came from an immigrant background and were first generation college students. LIU Brooklyn is a part of the Long Island University system.
