While some people may confuse it with Pacific University, Napa Valley College, or Pacific Union College, the University of the Pacific, is one of the oldest chartered universities in California. Having an impressive campus of more than 175 urban acres, the orange and black tigers and powercats take pride in their institution and only add to its improvement and consequential growth.
First started in 1851 under the brand of California Wesleyan College, it has come a long way after its two moves - San Jose (1871) and then Stockton(1923). It is accredited under WASC or the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and is one of the finest liberal arts colleges of its time.
